After a 34-17 lost a week ago from the Duke Blue Devils, Troy was hoping to get a win against Abilene Christian.
Both teams were 0-2 coming into the game yesterday hoping to one of them would get a win.
The Trojans received the ball to open the game but failed to score that resulted in a punt.
Abilene Christian drove the length of the field and ended with a score. Parker McKenzie found Monte Green-Avery for a 12 yard touchdown pass giving the Wildcats the lead 7-0.
After four plays the Trojans had to punt again.
The Wildcats drove the ball but the Trojans held them in check by forcing a punt. Abilene Christian downed the ball at the ten.
Troy put together a great drive that resulted in a touchdown. Jordan Chunn powered five yards into the endzone to tie the game at 7-7.

After sharing punts the Trojans got the ball back with 7:49 left in the first half.
The Trojans put a tremendous showing on offense and drove the ball in to redone. Brandon Silvers finds the end zone on is feet for a one yard touchdown giving Troy a 14-7 lead.
Abilene Christian gets the ball back. McKenzie has a pass intercepted by Femi Obaibo giving Troy the ball.
The Trojans did not take long to take advantage and score. Silvers connected 12 yards to Brandon Burks for a touchdown pass building Troy's lead 21-7 going in at half.
Abilene Christian received the ball to open the second half. The Wildcats put together a scoring drive that resulted in a touchdown.
The Wildcats own Demarcus Thompson powered his way for three yards for the score making the ballgame 21-14.
Troy answered back with scoring drive of their own with a touchdown. Khery Franklin sped past defenders for a 15 yard touchdown making the score 28-14.
Abilene Christian did not take long to score after three plays. McKenzie showed off his arm for a 63 yard touchdown pass to Cedric Gilbert making the scored 28-21.
Troy did not manage to move the ball and were forced to a three and out.
The Wildcats did not capitalize on the three and out. McKenzie threw another pick to Odaibo giving Troy the ball.
The Trojans could not take advantage off the turnover and were forced into a three out.
Abilene Christian did not take long to score. De'Andre Brown broke off a 47 yard touchdown run to tie the game up 28-28.
Troy could not put together a scoring drive and were forced to punt.
The Wildcats drove down the field for a score. Nick Grau drills a 27 yard field goal to give Abilene the lead 31-28.
The Trojans were forced to a three and out on offense and punted the ball away.
Abilene Christian offense could not be contained and scored again. Adrian Duncan bullies his way into
the endzone for nine yards giving the Wildcats a 38-28 lead.
Troy managed to score after three plays. Burks powers his way one yard into the endzone making the score 38-35.
The Trojans failed to recover the ball off the onside kick and the Wildcats run the clock out giving Abilene its first win of the year and Troy its third loss of the season.
Silvers went 12-21 with 187 passing yard and one touchdown pass. Dontrell Pruitt went 9-17 with 99 yards passing.
The Trojans are now 0-3 for the season and hope to get a win soon. Troy has a tough game this week going to Athens Georgia to face the UGA Bulldogs.
